The Brief

In 2024, Heineken brought together its top 900 Sales & Marketing employees from across the world for Commerce Week, an annual programme of plenary sessions, breakout workshops, dinners and a closing party in Amsterdam. With registration already running on Heineken’s own platform, the brief was to bring fast, reliable onsite technology that could plug into that existing system rather than replace it, and give organisers live visibility into who was where throughout a packed, multi-session week.

What we delivered

Delekit integrated with Heineken’s existing registration platform to support onsite technology rather than build a separate system from scratch. Onsite, the team scanned each guest’s QR code ticket, generated by the client’s own registration platform, and issued an NFC-enabled wristband colour-coded by registration type, so staff could identify guest categories at a glance throughout the week. As guests checked into sessions, organisers gained real-time visibility of attendance and engagement across the full programme.

The system is easy and accessible for everyone. Great system which made our lives easy onsite as handing out the personal wristbands was crucial for this event. It was also great to have George onsite for quick support and to help us with all our questions.
