Delekit started in 2014 as a check-in app. 12 years on, it is a full end-to-end event management platform, with a single source of truth for your entire event, from the first invite to the final report.
From the founder
I have worked in events since 2010, first as the person onsite making the technology work, then as the engineer building it. Before Delekit I worked in technology at Microsoft, Deloitte and American Express Global Business Travel.
The same problem kept coming up. Event teams were brilliant, but the systems they were given were slow to change, did not talk to each other and fell over at exactly the wrong moment. Fixing anything meant a support ticket and a wait.
So in 2014 I started Delekit as a check-in app. Event teams uploaded their attendee list to our Android app, we assigned each attendee an RFID wristband, and we scanned people in at the door and in and around sessions. That is where the business began.
12 years on, Delekit is a full end-to-end event management platform. Registration, event websites and emails, check-in, badge printing, session scanning, access control and reporting all run on one attendee record, so there is a single source of truth for your entire event journey, and it is all designed to keep working when the venue Wi-Fi does not.
We work with brilliant agencies and clients to deliver fantastic events, and everyone on the team shares a passion for technology that works on the day.
Delekit is still founder-led, and the team is growing. Our ambition is simple: to build the best event platform for organisers, backed by onsite delivery and registration support teams who care about your event as much as you do.
